High-tech talent in demand

WASHINGTON (CNNfn) - It's the single most important pending issue to the high technology lobby: increasing the number of visas available for workers from overseas.
Companies say they are facing a critical shortage and are in need of another increase in visa allotments from Congress. In recent testimony, Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan pointed out that reviewing U.S. immigration policy is quickly becoming an economic necessity.
