NEW YORK (CNNfn) - The Jaguar brand is associated with looks, luxury and performance. Now Jaguar is hoping to bring those values to a new market with a new model, the X-Type Baby Jag.

This is Jaguar for the new generation, it's the smallest and most affordable model in Jaguar range. Hopes are that the new model will boost Jaguar's worldwide sales. And there is a lot riding on its success, not just for Jaguar but for its parent company Ford, already under pressure in Europe.
