Onward to hikes through the bamboo forests of Volcanoes National Park, where travelers will spend hours watching families of gorillas in their natural home. They will then move on to Kigali, which was ravaged by the genocide in 1994. There, they'll hear from local leaders who have been working to tie the community together and meet with young women studying at a local college.
