"A regular guest at W Hollywood is a very eccentric Norwegian businessman. One Friday night he found Chris Nelson [the W hotel's "insider," like a very hip concierge] in the lobby and, for whatever reason, the businessman hadn't packed clothes for his trip to LA. He handed Chris $2,000 in cash and said, 'Go buy me clothes. I want to dress exactly like you.'
"Chris made a call to his favorite store on Robertson Blvd. and had them open for him after hours so he could buy the guest a full wardrobe for the night."
