The Library at the NoMad Hotel, New York

thelibrary bar

You'll want to arrive early to this hotel bar. Take a seat and pick up a book from its extensive literary collection while you await your colleagues' arrival.

But be sure to take a good look around before getting too engrossed in reading. Set in a 19th century library, the NoMad Hotel bar features two floors connected by an original spiral staircase imported from the South of France. The place has an intellectual charm you won't find in most bars.

The space is usually chock-a-block with trendy travelers and hotel guests, according to Luxury Attaché.

While there, you can enjoy cocktails and finger foods curated by Daniel Humm, chef of the 3 Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park.
