Mexico has a reputation for long working hours, according to data from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

So it's no surprise that workers in the capital city clock in 2,261 hours per year.

That's significantly more than Chicago, which is the hardest working city in the U.S. Workers there put in 2,030 hours per year.
