Edward Filistowicz, an IRS auditor and president of the Massachusetts branch of the National Treasury Employees Union, said he has had to use his accounting skills to budget and save more as he braces for the furloughs beginning May 24.
IRS workers were out in force Tuesday protesting the impending furloughs they are facing due to government spending cuts.
