The less-technically inclined can mingle at the shops and restaurants on downtown's Castro Street, which also hosts a wine festival every summer (Mountain View is in the middle of California Wine Country). If you're still having trouble meeting someone face to face, find a date online. Google provides free Wi-Fi throughout the town.
