The world is your oyster in Norwalk. Located up the Sound from Stamford, it's just as affluent but a little crunchier. Every summer the city holds its SoNo Arts Celebration, where the streets of historic South Norwalk come alive with art, food, music and a trademark puppet parade.
Then there's the annual tribute to shellfish that earned Norwalk the nickname "Oyster Town." Enter the shucking contest and see how many Shinnecocks you can crack open. And even if you don't find a pearl in Norwalk, you can still meet someone with plenty of clams.
