The Hyperloop is ideal for travel to cities less than 900 miles apart. The 383-mile trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco would take 34 minutes. The 226-mile journey from New York to Washington, D.C. would take 21 minutes. Solar panels along the track would produce the energy needed to run the system.
