People are drawn to this suburb 15 minutes from Provo, near Utah Lake and the Wasatch Mountain Range, for its country feel. Lots are larger here than in neighboring communities; the median price for homes sold in mid-2011 was about $250,000. Manufacturing plays a big role in the local economy, though the area also has tech employers, including Symantec. New to the town are an aquatics center and a senior center to serve the growing community of senior citizens. --A.W.
