The investment seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, of 300% of the inverse (or opposite) of the performance of the BNY China Select ADR Index. The fund creates short positions by investing at least 80% of its assets in financial instruments that, in combination, provide leveraged and unleveraged exposure to the index. The index is a free float-adjusted capitalization-weighted index designed by the BNY Mellon to track the performance of a basket of companies who have their primary equity listing on a Chinese stock exchange or that also have depositary receipts that trade on a U.S. exchange or on the NASDAQ. The fund is non-diversified.
